Privacy Policy

How personal data is handled on this website and which rights you have.

Last updated

On this page infozelle explains which information reaches us when you open infozelle.info or write to us, what we do with it, how long it stays with us and whom you can ask about it.

Data controller

infozelle, located at 14 Cooper Yard, Jericho, Oxford OX2 6HT, United Kingdom, is responsible for the processing of personal data described here, on every page of infozelle.info and in the correspondence that follows from it. Questions about this notice can be sent to hello@infozelle.info or put to us on 01865 497 312.

The content and services of this website are meant for adults. We do not set out to receive information about children, and if a message from a child reaches us by mistake, a short note to hello@infozelle.info is enough for us to delete it.

Data we collect

Each time a page is requested, the server notes the address of the requesting device, the date and time, the page and the browser that asked for it. These entries are needed to deliver the page, to keep the site stable and to trace faults, and they are removed after a short time.

If you write to us through the contact form or by email, we store your name, your email address, any telephone number you choose to give and the content of your message, in order to deal with your request.

Purpose and legal basis

We use data to keep this website online and safe, to reply to the messages we receive, to prepare and carry out agreements with clients and to keep the records our business requires.

Depending on the case, the basis is your consent, the performance of a contract or steps taken before entering into one, a legal obligation, or our legitimate interest in a secure website. Without the details we ask for, we may be unable to reply.

This website uses only technically necessary storage. We do not set advertising cookies, and no analytics service records how you move through our pages or links your visit to other websites.

Your browser lets you review what is kept for this website, erase it and prevent it from being stored again. If you block entries that the site needs in order to function, some pages may not display correctly.

Service providers and transfers abroad

Personal data is never traded. Access is limited to the technical service providers that run our hosting and mail systems, who process data on our behalf under a written contract, and to public bodies where disclosure is required.

Some of these providers may process or store data outside our own country. Where that happens, we make sure that the transfer rests on the safeguards that data protection law provides for such cases.

Storage periods

We keep personal data only for as long as the purpose it was collected for requires, or longer where record-keeping duties apply. After that it is deleted or changed so that it no longer points to a person.

Server logs are held by our hosting provider for a short period and are then removed automatically. Correspondence stays with us while the matter is open and for a reasonable time afterwards, in case you come back to the same question.

Data security

Suitable technical and organisational measures guard the information we hold against unauthorised access, alteration and accidental loss. Where the browser allows it, what you send through the site travels in encrypted form.

No transfer of data over the internet can be made entirely safe, so a residual risk remains. Inside infozelle, messages are read only by the people who deal with them.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interests and to receive your data in a portable format. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

You can use your rights by writing to hello@infozelle.info. Before we answer, we may ask for a detail that confirms your identity, so that data is not disclosed to the wrong person; the answer follows within the period the law provides and costs you nothing.

Besides contacting us, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.

Updates

We revise this notice whenever the way we handle data changes. The current wording is always published here, and the date at the top tells you when it was last updated.

Each new version replaces the previous one without a separate notice. Where a change concerns processing that depends on your consent, we obtain fresh consent before it applies.
